I can sincerely say the training was the best I've had in Basic and Electrical Installations. I did not only gain the certification but also gained the ability to work on small Electrical components (resistors and diodes) to the bigger ones (Transformers, Distribution Boxes, Meters and Three-Phase Distribution Systems). Most importantly, I now know the principles of Ohm's Law because most of the principles of Electricity are based around it.!
Adeoti Oluwafemi
A great experience it was, really. I learnt how to make use of simple hand tools for safety during Electrical installations. Also, I learnt the AC and DC where the transformer practicals were mind blowing when I learnt the Step up and step down transformers. Indeed it was worth my time.
Osademe Chuks
I learnt about Resistors/Types/Color codes of a resistor and how they work. I also came across scientific/Engineering notations and their calculations which I did not know. I also learnt how to use a variable resistor to serve as a voltage doubler. I was also exposed to transformer types, testing voltages on the input and output with an ammeter. It really was a privilege A big thank you to the SkillUp team.

I appreciate the privilege of being a partaker of the SkillUp Electrical Installation Training. I never knew the relevance of Ampere, voltage and resistance calculations in electrical installations until I got to the training. Prior to the training, I worked without observing safety precautions, but learnt during the training that safety is considered first in all Engineering working areas. I recollect wiring a whole building without ground/earth but got to know the usefulness after the training. Finally, after the training, I got to know how to make a connection of a singe and three-phase motor with the different types of connections perfectly. I really appreciate the value added to my life. It's SkillUp... Our Vocation, Our Future Indeed!.
Muritala Sile
It was a very vital training. I learnt on voltage doubler and why it is mostly used in industries. I learnt the connection of motors; star and delta but most importantly the conversion of AC to DC using a bridge rectifier. In general, I learnt the wiring/connection of lighting be it domestic or industrial.
